As I sip my morning cup of joy, as if it were a cup of ritual – smooth and calm, I am reflective of the many blessings in life that are a part of who I am.
I treasure the ability to sit up in bed, step across the room, and go to work.
Work, for me, is right where I am at. Work is where I take it. And work is my decision.
My prayer this morning:
Thank you, Lord, for blessing me with the ability to work.
I set my feet on the ground each morning, with a plan of productivity.
With your help, I set my brain in motion to create an environment around me that is pleasing to not only you, but to others.
Please be with those less fortunate. I hope I can make a difference in their day, to brighten their life, if only for a moment.
I am so blessed just to be. Just to wake up and be. I am given the materials to form a day, to make a difference, to be productive, to take care of my family, and to love.
Thank you.
Good post!

Thank you, Amy.
Hi Mary, I am brand new to your blog. Ironically, I discovered it as I traced some steps from FaceBook about you reinventing yourself/your business. I wish you well as you ‘pivot.’ And this prayer has touched me deeply. It is my prayer too. If you don’t mind, I’m going to print it and place it in a prominent place in my office. Thank you for sharing from your heart.
